To sir With Love-Twenty-Ten-Twenty Ten

Sometimes when a relation longs beyond expectations,efforts and still running, we need to give a serious look into it. TO a sinner like me, i am blessed with some moments of truth; which i lived through. One such moment of truth about a relation is shared below by a student of mine on the occasion of my B'day 20-10-2010; a pat-giving pure moment.

"This is a post about a relationship, about faith, about believing one another. It was because of that friendship and that belief, that we set out on the journey to explore the adventures of ideation and just like that on this occasion of his birthday ( 20/10/2010. ( twenty ten, Twenty ten)) a small post of our past.

We met some ten years ago in a classroom – one the lecturer other the student. And we have worked together ever since ( started with a paper presentation for a management meet). often seeing ourselves along the journey as two wet rats in a drain. This mention is just a mark of embark of our relations that we have found more meaningful and significant to relish and rejuvenate in the world of business. It has made our lives challenging and our worlds more purposeful. Touch wood!! We will be always together…

No journey is easy; no relationship is filled only with laughter. But we are excited everyday of that journey because we were on a mission to learn and improve. We believe passionately in each other’s ideas and views. .These is not like those which in life are to get by or merely to survive. That was never an interest of ours. I am not saying it is easy, but it is worthwhile. Long live our Association.

I was there;but not ALONE

• When Barcelona striker David Villa sent a signed jersey and Real Madrid offered an invitation to a match it wasn’t for a football promoting and fans appealing program;

• When Billionaire Chile president Mr.Sebastian Pinera made statement and invited them to Presidential palace for a dinner, it wasn’t for political benefit;

• When Mr. Laurence Golborne, Chile mining minister was twitted across the globe over by an average of 15 k followers per week isn’t for him;

• When the firm Codelco, the world's top copper producer and Schramm Inc, the global leader in supplier of hydraulic drilling equipments and California-based sunglasses firm Oakley participated it wasn’t for any organizational business purpose or any profit positioning instance;

• When around the world print, electronic and online media served with latest news and update for a period of 69 days wasn’t to sensationalize by reporting the incident;

• When Mining Union leaders and top relative domain companies offered more than 1000 job options with them isn’t for lucrative occasion;

YES, it was for the purpose of showcasing overwhelming humanious support extended towards the ordeal of 33 Chilean mineworkers, who were trapped 700 meters underground for 69 days at the San Jose gold and copper mine in the northern Atacama Desert region, due to the collapse of the shaft while working.

Honestly speaking, I was not curious about the issue for a couple weeks, but I picked the nerves of the real issue only when I understood the gravity of the circumstances that the mineworkers are trapped in. My excitement grew by each day with the increasing media coverage and hundreds of supporters across society, families and others thronging themselves to the location. The increasing numbers of camps put up by these groups praying and awaiting the survival of their family member; brother, father or son, it could be the most anxious moment of their lifetime.

Despite the root causes of the issue, I found the following experiences that awed me during these times;

1.History has witnessed a rare demonstration, where fate was defeated with hands down show of technical expertise pooled by various ma-made resources.

2.The event transpired a whole nation to live through the emotions and to make celebrations is beyond a natural effort and it was amazingly impressive. I am sure the sounds of cheers and glasses over drink kept the evil spirits at bay.

3.The incident uncovered the greed of the mining companies and negligence by the governments are displayed across and the event had greater chances to kick off the reforms towards “the working conditions of mineworkers; in safety, shelter and pay “for the industry too.

Above all, beyond the survival, man displayed homogeneity in putting up collective effort; a feat very seldom in occurrence and I am happy for I lived in this times to witness, “the enigmatic moment of survival” that set to inspire many TV shows, movies, autobiographies in coming times and to inspire many generations.

“Onnee…Twooo….Threeeee”

One, It was 3 years back when I got first notice of a quote had caught my attention “The one time meal of a convict in jail is for 4 times better than a farmer in India”. It was P.Sainath, an unfamiliar journalist with lot of professional credits for coverage on famine, hunger, farmer and agricultural issues for ‘The Hindu’. Probably his unique contribution and achievement is, he could be the only journalist of modern era who shaken the PMO to make a policy by the Central Government to launch “Food for Work and Rural Employment guarantee scheme” by consistently presenting the plight of the farmers under drought hit farming, credit driven families and rising suicides in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.


Two, I was recently introduced to “Logo therapy”, a psychological analysis developed by neurologist Mr.Viktor Frank is considered as famous as the third such contributions after Freud and Adler theories, where he credits the theory to the experiences of “Jews Holocaust” during World War II in the concentration camps. He coined the theory “Logo Therapy” deals with “will to meaning; the determination to survive in one’s life despite the acute and deprived circumstances and times “against Freud’s “will to Pleasure” and Adler’s “will to Power”. The therapy is actually found on the belief that is “striving to find a meaning is the prime of all human life” over power and Pleasure and importantly the Inspiring and dynamic force that leads the human beings.


Three, Watching “Peepli Live“a magnanimous effort on silver screen, which deals with farmer suicides with a touch of best known reality film making in the recent times. It’s simple we don’t care “farmer suicides” who produces the product we feed on and on as long as we live.


The other simpler thing is, I might score the maximum on logo therapy, as I continue to lead life irrespective the hard hitting and cruel reality instances around me.

The simplest of all is Onnee…..Twooo….Threeee…..”I am remain the best of all The Naked” while walking out of the theater, who is used to look after my own issues and never feels shameless for not worrying or thinking for those Farmers and society we have forgotten.

Women Reservation Bill: The “!!$@@**” side of it

The passing of Women Reservation Bill (WRB) in Rajya Sabha reflects politics of all shapes and sizes at its best. How???!!!!@@@@@****

1. WRB will create a positive momentum in the public in vote attracting mechanism for secured and assured power to political parties.

2. WRB depicts the thought structure and format, politicians prefer to go through to deliver a solution towards an issue; divide and rule to collective solutions.

3. WRB is a unique bill of its type, which is presenting physical solutions for psychological problems.

4. WRB is a bill is opportunity for less and closed groups than to benefit in large and across sections.

5. WRB reflects half baked bills and unfinished debate and self purpose goals of political parties and politicians in Indian Houses of Representatives.

6. WRB will create a machinery of “Yes Women” along with “Yes Men” types.

7. WRB is set to introduce the newer generations the Aristocratic and coterie culture than to condemn it.

8. WRB will create more opportunities for powerful and political families to facilitate Daughters, Sister-in-law’s, daughter-in-law’s, grand daughters’ and nieces to be elected as MP’s and MLA’s along with present practice of electing sons, son-in-laws and Nephews.

9. WRB will set to see more women ship that is adamant and autocratic than ever.

10. WRB will set opportunities for more corruption forms and rate of corrupt women will be on rise.

11. WRB will divide the Man and Women more than ever.

12. WRB can set tone for “reservations bill for eunuchs”.

I strongly believe that Man or Woman doesn’t create any difference on the face of Power, Corruption and Greed. So, bills of such kind will only worsen the focus over the fit solutions and set to increase the ideological clashes, complexities for future generations in solving and living with them.

YES..All have done their Duties

When my 10 year old Nephew very innocently asked me why couldn't people around haven't saved the life of the hacked-to-left-to death decorated police officer MR.R.VetriVel in Tamilnadu, i just told him, that all the people present on the scene were busy in doing their duties.Isn't it!! YES..All have done our duties in the incident of the hacked to death of the decorated Police Inspector on the dawn of the New Year.How just check it out!!!!

1.POLITICIANS,when asked why they did they haven't let their support in saving the life of dying inspector,the state Health Minister says, he was in state of deep shock and wasn't able to think beyond and was stunned, other than calling for an ambulance.Also rebukes saying "what else should I do".

YES!! what else he could do, than let the inspector dying.

2.POLICE, when asked why they haven't,said they are on duty to protect the state minister under the protocol and they were abiding strictly by definition to duty, rather helping a brave officer of their own department.They were seen in the video fetching inspector water just like fetching for a dog.

YES!! they have met their duty objectives in the fear of any complications arising due to unnecessary involvement and implications in the future.

3.DISTRICT COLLECTOR, was completely shocked alike Minister and just did his duty in managing the protocol to the best terms.

YES!! the best collector of the Century.

4.THE VIDEO REPORTER, he was the most busiest of the lot and most unaffected and un-distracted of all the lot. He was Totally soaked into the profession and was busy in recording around the incident by moving his camera from angle to angle and later who sold his video to best possible price.

YES!! he is the PERFECT professional who stood by duty boundedness.

5.NEWS CHANNELS, they had the best possible news item to corner and pin politicians and carried out debate shows.

YES!! they only take post death cases into consideration to get justice.They too were doing their duties.

6.CASTE GROUPS, were busy in raising slogans and demands over the incident against government and police department.All they did was they covered the slain with Heep of garlands for about a 5 plus feet, raised heroic slogans in the name of the deceased and haven't spared to appeal for unrealistic and irrelevant demands.

YES!! they too have done their part.

7.WE ALL,too have taken valuable time out of our rational living perspectives and priorities to grieve,share,view,angry,disgusted and discussed the incident with plenty of alternatives and solutions, suggestions "how he could have been saved".

YES!! as usual we all did the our duties with respective to all given conditions around us.


YES..IF we all have done our duties, then why did the officer died helplessly, pleading and succumbing to brutal attack and pains. For certain WE ALL HAVE BLOOD ON OUR HANDS.

YES...THE MOST HEINOUS SHAME FOR HUMANITY MORAL VALUES,For sure we have witnessed and will remain for the rest of our lives.

3 idiots:Aamir,Chetan & Me

From the moment of release of '3Idiots' and its controversy, for some unknown reason, had a feeling not to write anything about the movie on my blog, and this decision grown stronger after me watching the movie.But me hearing the late evening discussion in the hospital with other visitors, i decided to speak out.

AAMIR,had certainly kept himself in controversies, and he seems to have regularly find himself an issue especially with 'script' and 'script writers'.Certainly there's something clinically wrong in his approach and he should find ways to work this out and needs to establish to cut down the damage he is encouraging in this fashion.Things have certainly gone wrong,but details were nt out, but only arguments remained.

Given the success of the movie, he had done a great favor in bringing the "five point someone" and"Chetan Bhagath" a lot of recognition and the sales for this book are increasing already.I guess this new found demand for the book might lead to more editions to be published in more languages too.

CHETAN,The guy who made news with "five Point someone" had succeeded in managing the success, but he faltered in holding grip to the controversy he kicked off.His meek surrender of apology and sudden compromise concretely shows after the dirt linen was washed in public,only benefited increased eyeballs for news channels.

Chetan failed to take hold of the controversy he created and i think he miserably understood the words "loosely based on","inspired by","adapted to" have different meanings in show business.

ME,i find the movie almost nothing to offer and i have my reasons;check out them

1.In a Narrative movie, its tough to have a continuous scenes, but a continuity to the earlier input do exists, its where '3 idiots' lost the narrative grip. No single scene have a significant continuous essaying, either before or after.Take a careful re-look, every scene shot starts and ends independently and it has no relevance with which way the story is heading, except very few towards the climax.

2.None of the characters carry to home including Aamir's, exceptions to CHATUR & JOSHI and the slogan "ALL is WELL",credits to RAJU for this.Kareena, Madhavan did nt find strong hold for their characters and many loose ends on Aamir's character have nt been fixed.

3.I did find the movie should be called '4 idiots' which includes "CHATUR, the silencer", which the director have missed completely to place a notice to be called.Watch closely, it is CHATUR who does the script moving.

4.I did nt hold to my decision not to fall in trap to the discussions and controversies.I should have been More careful.

As Munna Bhai says "In life Every thing has a first time" is coming true in post independent India's electorate in the case of Andhra Pradesh.The State of Andhra Pradesh is heading towards imposing the president's Rule.

Might be the state of AP is the first of the kind, where Congress Party had regained power consecutively for the second term with a comfortable majority required to rule the state, is welcoming president's rule.

When does the president's rule is asked for ??The president's rule is usually imposed during the collapse of a minority numbered governments or in case of lack of consensus for a collation government in a particular state or on any other high reasons of emergency of security reasons of a federal state.

But how did AP became case of such imminent proposal with clear majority for a ruling party is a matter of combination of pathetic politics,unethical standards of practice on sensitive issues, political unemployment, unimpressive and unclear decision making, timid leadership, restless student groups and diversion of public issues.

All this comes at What cost???!?!?
